Think about Germany? as well. Many studies are now offered in English. Semester fees are about 750 Euros maximum amd in some German federal states there aren’t any fees. PLUS going international gives you a huge advantage over those who stayed in the US…. If you want to go back at all once you experienced the sweet health care system of European states. Food for thought.

I have an M.A. and $57,000 in student loan debt. I got my B.A. in 1999. I filed for bankruptcy in 2001 (never touched a credit card since). I got my M.A. in 2005. I nearly got evicted in 2011. Luckily, one of my grad school colleagues? just offered me a job. I’m relocating in January to start. I still haven’t paid a cent on my student loan debt. I keep having to get deferments.

This broadcast is good quality. Like I said, Ana should work on getting up bar with Cenk, because she has? seemed mediocre and tinkering.

That guy at the end was an idiot to pay 75K to go to school to be a freaking actor. My advice to would be students is apply and get in and then take one or two classes so you can put you are going to college on your resume and then bust your ass trying to get a internship or some other job in the field you want to be in and take that experience and try to get a job and then drop out. ?

Wow? I can’t believe you Americans are paying so much for education.
Thank god I live in Australia

My dad keeps pressuring me to go to a really expensive school because he’s somewhat elitist. Without aid I’d end up with 125K in? student loans and he just shrugs that off like it’s nothing. I’d be paying back loans for my entire life.

An entire generation of people are now essentially debt slaves. By the time I graduate college? I’m going to have the equivalent to a mortgage in debt without the house.

@Pleblian You are? lying.

I’m glad i’m not from and studying in the US. Sure you have some of the worlds greatest universities, but outside of that elite, it’s a bad situation.
I’m Norwegian, and here _THE STATE_ supplies student loans for 7 years of university? (you can apply for more), and 40% of those loans becomes stipends when you pass your classes.
After 2 years at university, dropping out to change field of study, and now over half a semester at a new school, i still have $20K positive net (self-made) capital :)

@crumcon film school is where they teach you how to produce movies and television shows. It’s not a performance school, but more of where you learn the theory and technique of screenwriting and? directing.
